Ceramicist Alex at the Vista Library

Adult Ceramics Class with Alex!

Ceramicist Alex will lead you through creating a masterpiece of your own. Your piece will be glazed and fired at her studio and ready for pick up within a few weeks of class. Baby Sign Storytime

Join us for our weekly teen film afternoon program. Come and enjoy recent PG-13 rated films with your friends and peers. Pizza and candy are supplied by Library Friends funds. For teens ages 13-17. See more photos.

Esta es nuestra hora para relajarnos y crear algo bonito, aunque imperfecto en un ambiente relajado e informal. Este programa está destinado a adultos de 18 a 55 años o más. Clase es dad en Español. Se requiere inscripción, ya que la clase tiene un límite de 15 participantes.

Flyer for Monday Funday EventMonday Funday

This bi-weekly program is geared for adults with disabilities and their caregivers and hosted by bilingual Library staff.  Participants can sign out a coloring kit or table-top game during this unstructured leisure time and play with friends of individually. Materials are intentionally chosen to keep a spectrum of both gross and fine motor skill abilities in mind.  The supplies for this class use items paid for by San Diego County as well as Friends of the Vista Library. Did you know that you can hear live music at the Vista Library for free?  On the first Wednesday of every month from 1-2 PM, the Friends of the Vista Library brings you a lovely program featuring local musicians. It’s held in the Community Room to a full house, so mark your calendars and join us soon. See more.

Do you need to find some time to de-stress? The Coloring Club is perfect for you. Get creative with like-minded colleagues every two weeks.  The Friends pays for coloring kits as well as coloring pages for participants. See more.
